If anyone cared to know, the last 6 months were very stressful with my move to London, which led me to eat shitty food, also having a boyfriend who ate that shitty food with me didn’t help (domestic bliss=weight gain). So I definitely gained back a significant amount of weight, but over the last few days, I went back to low carb to prepare for my move across the pond.
Let’s just say this was a bad idea. Trying to get into ketosis while travelling really sucks. Right now I am sitting in Heathrow airport in London and I am dehydrated, hungry, moody and wishing I hadn’t started the keto diet until I go settled in. But I’ve already been doing it for a few days, so I’m gonna suck it up and continue. I’m not doing keto to try to be thin. I just want to lose the weight I gained back the past 6 months.
I am fine with the way I look and feel, I just hate that I practically had to buy a whole new wardrobe because I got too big for my clothes. I’d rather have my clothes get to big on me then too small. I think with the combination of low carb for a month or two and walking a lot in London should help me get some of the weight off. My boyfriend is back home in America, so I won’t have him as a bad influence to my eating habits. He’s coming over to Europe next month and I want to get back into a healthy groove before he arrives.
